Thank you for viewing our 2013 Summer Camp Schedule. It’s great to plan
summer activities well in advance and we’re happy to offer some fun and
educational options this year to engage and enrich your child during those long,
hot summer months.
Summer Only PreSchool Music and Drama Camp –
One of our most popular camps, students enrolled meet twice a week and
do music, an arts and craft project, take a break for a snack and the washroom
and finish the day with drama. Camp is Tuesday and Thursday from 9 -10:30 am.
Camp starts Tuesday July 9th and ends with a presentation for parents on
August 29th. Students age four and five are welcome. Tuition is $330.
Music and Drama Camp –
Students will do improvisation, theater games, monologues, dialogues and scene
study to enhance public speaking and performing skills in a fun summer long
session. Camp is Monday and Wednesday from 9-10:30 am. Camp starts
Monday July 8th and ends with a presentation for parents on August 28th.
Students ages six through eight are welcome. Tuition is $330.
Beginner Guitar Camp
This week long introduction to electric or acoustic guitar is perfect for students
who have always wanted to learn this awesome instrument. Session One is
Monday July 15th –Thursday July 18th from 11am-12pm, Session Two is Monday
July 22nd to Thursday July 25th. Tuition of $105 includes a music notebook.
Beginner Piano Camp
Have a son or daughter who would like to try the piano? One week camp at our
school is a great way to start! Session One is Monday August 5th –Thursday
August 8th from 11am-12pm, Session Two is Monday August 12th to Thursday
August 15th. Tuition of $115 includes a music lesson book and a notespeller.
Glee Club for a Day
Love the show “Glee”? If you always wanted to be a part of a show and sing this
is the camp for you. Monday July 15th from 1-4pm. Tuition is $49.
Musical Theater for a Day
Learn to sing, act and move to routines from your favorite shows! A great way to
build self-confidence and team work skills! Tuesday July 16th from 1-4pm. Tuition
is $49.
Songwriting and Music Production Workshop –
Studio Director Jim Josselyn is an accomplished composer, with compositions
placed in twenty eight television programs including PBS, the Discovery Channel,
the Learning Channel, VH1 and MTV. Workshop students will learn basics of
song writing, and see how to produce and create music in a professional
recording environment. At the end of the workshop each student will have a CD
of the music they created. Class will meet once a week on Thursday mornings
from 9am -11 from July 11th – Aug 8th. Class is limited to three students so
register now. Each student will get a music notebook and 4 blank CD’s to use
throughout the class. Tuition is $200.
Private Music Lessons
Half hour and hour music lessons on all instruments are available throughout the
summer from July 2nd to August 30th on Monday through Thursday. For
students already studying an instrument, summer is a great time to start a second
instrument or maintain progress on a primary instrument. For students who are
not already studying, summer is an excellent time to start and see if they would
like to continue during the school year. Private lessons are $230 for eight half
hour lessons. During summer the school can accommodate a more flexible
schedule if necessary. Students 5 years old and up can take private lessons.
Create-A-Camp
If you have an idea or a suggestion for a camp or if you like soemthing on our schedule but the days/times don't work please let us know. Summer is a great time to try something new for you AND our staff!
If you see a camp you like but the day/time/week we have scheduled doesn’t work for you please inquire We run our camps with 3 or more students and we are happy to accomodate you if possible.
