What's New?
As we head in to the fourth year at our new location at 623 River Road, and our ten year anniversary(!) we're looking forward to a number of exciting new things for the 2012-2013 school year.
As we do every summer we will be improving and upgrading our facility. This year we will upgrade the sound proofing on our drum rooms, in addition to the usual aesthetic improvements of a fresh coat of paint throughout the studio, a new door on the back storage closet as well as some other fun touches we're planning on to make our studio look and sound it's best!
New Programs
This year the focus is on RockBand! As we've grown, many students have grown with us. It's time for our intermediate and advanced players to join groups, practice together regularly and perform! RockBand students will meet one hour a week on Sunday mornings six weeks prior to the recitals, and perform 2-3 classic or contemporary pop or rock songs on the recital. This year's group, "The Purple Keys" played the Recital, Student Appreciation Day, and a gig opening up for a professional band at the Concert on the Docks series in Fair Haven!
Continuing this year is our class to help adult professionals who need to speak publicly and need some guidance and coaching. Our Public Speaking for Professionals uses acting techniques, self-esteem and confidence building to help the apprehensive public speaker. One on one sessions are available. We've also added a new class for 4 and 5 year olds, Intro to Music and Drama, which offers 45 minutes a week of age appropriate fun instruction for beginner musicians and actors.
Finally, we get many inquiries each year about our faculty's availability to perform at weddings, parties and events and we've done many, though we've never promoted it. This year we want to let you know that if you are hosting a party or any type or size of event we can provide the appropriate classical, popular or jazz musicians to perform at your party, wedding or event!
Popular Returning Programs
Include Music and Me, the school’s Mommy and Me program for children age zero to three, Kinder Rhythm, a fun half hour weekly class that focuses on rhythm, movement, singing and keyboard for four and five year olds, the Junior Choir, RockSchool and Drama. Students registered in the school’s private lessons and classes all have the opportunity to perform on the winter and spring recitals.
The school’s university trained, friendly staff offer instruction on Piano, Guitar, Voice, Bass, Drums, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet, Trombone, Cello, Viola, Violin and Drama and is available six days a week.

If you are interested in a class (Intro to Music and Drama, Choir, etc) and it is not on our schedule - we need three students to run a class so if you have three students interested we will set up a special day and time for you if possible. Please call and we are happy to see how we can help you.
